Access2Site Ltd – Returns Policy
- Purpose This policy outlines Access2Site Ltd’s approach to refunds and returns for construction-related training courses. It ensures compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and relevant awarding body requirements. The aim is to provide fairness, transparency, and consistency for all learners.
- Scope This policy applies to all individuals and organisations purchasing courses delivered online, face-to-face, or blended. It covers cancellations, withdrawals, refunds, and deferrals where courses commence immediately upon enrolment.
- Key Principles Access2Site Ltd will:

- Provide clear information on course content, structure, and fees before enrolment.
- Ensure learners are aware of their rights under consumer law.
- Offer fair refunds where legally required or appropriate.
- Apply consistent procedures for processing cancellations and refunds.
- Cooling-Off Period

- Learners enrolling online or via distance methods are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of enrolment.
- If a learner accesses course materials, training sessions, or assessments during this period, any refund will be reduced to reflect the proportion of training already provided.
- Where a course is fully accessed or completed within the 14-day period, no refund will be available.
- Withdrawals After Cooling-Off Period
- Withdrawals made after the statutory 14-day cooling-off period will not normally be eligible for a refund.
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical reasons, bereavement), partial refunds or deferrals may be considered at the discretion of the Managing Director.
- Deductions from Refunds

- Any non-recoverable costs incurred by Access2Site Ltd will be deducted from any refund due.
- These include, but are not limited to:
- Awarding body registration or certification fees
- Administration and processing costs
- Evidence of such costs will be retained and made available upon request.
- Provider Cancellations

- If Access2Site Ltd is unable to deliver a course for any reason, learners will be offered either:
- A full refund (minus any non-recoverable awarding body registration fees already paid), or
- A free transfer/deferral to an alternative course or start date.
- If Access2Site Ltd is unable to deliver a course for any reason, learners will be offered either:
- Deferrals & Transfers

- Learners may request to defer or transfer to another course within 30 days of enrolment, subject to availability and approval.
- Requests outside this timeframe may incur an administration fee.
- Non-Engagement

- Failure to engage with course materials or assessments does not constitute grounds for a refund.
- Refund Process

- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Operations Team.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days using the original payment method.
- Monitoring & Review This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if there are changes in consumer law or awarding body regulations.
